Description
Summary:The agricultural practices and the areas of knowledge that permeates it are a context that moves great interest to scientific research. The historical trajectory of agricultural practices, the scientific interest and the strong demand for more productive efficiency are some of the important elements to highlight the role of these themes should play in the formulation and assessment of public policies, financing channels, innovation systems and technological development. In Brazil, this context should not be different: the involvement of agriculture-related themes in the next years should take on an increasingly predominant role, either by their natural vocation as a food producer or by new demands based on the analysis of the results of scientific research and statistical surveys. In this sense, this RECoDAF issue brings five studies linked to topics such as Information Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies, Food and Commercialization Programs, Models for Production Systems and Agriculture Data – all "connected" to the social context of small farms rural areas.
