Summary:Objective: The goal of this study was to investigate anthropometric and motoric performance characteristics of Turkish badminton players of 10-14 age. Material and Methods: A total of 166 male and 129 female badminton players from 35 different provinces participated in the study voluntarily. The research was conducted at U9, U11, U13 and U15 Turkish badminton championships. Height, stroke length, body weight measurements were taken; 20 m sprint, standing long jump, vertical jump, flexibility, medicine ball throwing and back strength tests were performed. Besides, anaerobic power and body mass index scores of the athletes were calculated. Mann Whitney-U and independent samples t-test were used to compare differences between genders.
