Description
Summary:In this work, the paleographic edition of a letter written at the end of the XVIIIth century is shown and a version adapted to current criteria is also given. The letter was written by Martin Urrutia, who lived in Madrid, and it was addressed to the famous Don Domingo Dutari from Zugarramurdi. Urrutia was asking for help for himself and his family and told Dutari what had led him to such a situation. In spite of its brevity, the letter contains relevant information and some keys to Navarre's inner history that could be of considerable importance. The language used is analysed and the most significant characteristics are gathered, with the aim of determining what variety it represents.
