Description
Summary:CeO2/ZnO nanocomposites were synthesized by microwave method that is the fast process. One of an eco-friendly solvent, ethylene glycol were used the effect of time and power of irradiation were investigated on morphology and size of nanoparticle. Prepared CeO2/ZnO nanocomposites are characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and UV–Visible absorption spectroscopy. For this nanocomposites photocatalyst test were applied against four colors, Methyl violet, Methylene blue, Rhodamin b and Erythrosine. the percent of decolorization for each color under UV light after 120 min were 92% and 60% were obtained respectively.
