In Brazil, there are 70 genera and about 850 species. The family is easily distinguished by the presence of latex, gineceu connate only by the stylus and/or stigma, with free ovarian, and head of differentiated stigma. The aim of this study was to catalog the native and exotic species of Apocynaceae family that occur in Lavras, Minas Gerais. The native vegetation landscape consists of savannas, savanna, riverine forests, slope forests, semi-deciduous forest and rocky fields. This survey was carried out through consultations with herbarium of ESAL, ESA, HUEFS, IAC, JBRJ, MBM, IBt, SPF, UB, and UEC, which were raised all family herbarium specimens and took up the corresponding to specimens collected in Lavras. They were also made surveys in publications on the flora of the municipality, collected in parks, gardens and flower shops of the city. The collected materials were prepared by following the usual technique of herborization and included in the herbarium of ESAL. In addition, an identification key native species found was drafted. The family is represented in the city by 48 species (41 native and 6 exotic), distributed in 22 genera. The subfamily Apocynoideae showed greater diversity specifies (16 species), compared to other subfamilies. Most species showed climbing habit. We compared the results of this work with five others conducted in areas of environmental preservation of Minas Gerais: Carrancas, Parque Estadual do Ibitipoca, Poços de Caldas, Serra São José and Toca dos Urubus. It was found that the highest species diversity for the family was observed in Lavras (47 species), and the study showed that the most common species of this work was found in Carrancas, with 16 species.https://sea.ufr.edu.br/index.php?journal=SEA&page=article&op=view&path=315apocynaceae, levantamento florístico lavras - minas gerais |
