Description
Summary:A vision of the military orders participation in the conquest of the Kingdom of Seville, of the causes of their scarce territorial resources and of the system change after the Moorish rebellion in 1264 and the benimerin invasion. The orders assume the defense of the new frontier and try to repopulate it. The 15th century shows the withdrawal of Alcántara and Calatrava, the emergence of the domain of Osuna and the continuance of Santiago; after the conquest of Granada and the Discovery a new age is opened for the Reign and the Orders.
