The article is devoted to studying the experience of coordinating the activities of border control agencies in the leading countries of the world. In research conducted comparative analysis of the characteristics and mechanisms of coordinated state border management in different countries. The authors have studied the possibility of introducing such practice in Ukraine. The functions of public authorities are examined in this article. They delegated all or part to the Customs for to speed up trade at the border. The author investigated the interaction control services of foreign states and cooperation between the fiscal authorities of Ukraine and other state authorities. The author has provided the mechanisms simplifying the procedure of state control of goods at checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine. The authors showed directions that bring this procedure into line with international standards. The article considers the forms and methods of optimization of control procedures on the Ukrainian border.
