Lithuanian unpublished interwar topographical maps

A number of publications about Lithuanian interwar topographical mapping present the same piece of information that until the beginning of the World War II only the following maps were published: 92 M 1:25 000 and 44 M 1:100 000. The article analyses the interwar (1920–1940) topographical maps of several areas of Lithuania which were compiled but never published: Varėna artillery ground map M 1:25 000 (1925), Gaižiūnai military ground maps M 1:100 000 (1930 ?) and 1:50 000 (1932), Kaunas garrison shooting-theatre map M :10 000 (1933), Pabradė military garrison map M 1:25 000 (1940), Šventoji-Darbėnai map M 1:100 000 (1939?). Illustrations present fragments of the above-mentioned maps. Article in Lithuanian Neskelbti tarpukario Lietuvos topografiniai žemėlapiai Santrauka. Nemaža publikacijų apie tarpukario Lietuvos teritorijos topografinį kartografavimą teikia tapačią informaciją, kad iki Antrojo pasaulinio karo pradžios spėta išleisti 92 M 1:25 000 ir 44 M 1:100 000 žemėlapius. Straipsnyje nagrinėjami 1920–1940 m. laikotarpiu sudaryti neskelbti įvairių Lietuvos teritorijos dalių topografiniai žemėlapiai: Varėnos artilerijos poligono M 1:25 000 žemėlapis (1925 m.), Gaižiūnų karinio poligono M 1:100 000 (1930 m. ?) ir M 1:50 000 (1932 m.) žemėlapiai, Kauno įgulos šaudyklos M 1:10 000 žemėlapis (1933 m.), Pabradės karinio poligono M 1:25 000 žemėlapis (1940 m.), ŠVENTOJI – DARBėNAI M 1:100 000 žemėlapis (1939 m. ?).
