The double protonation of the organic cation establish N—H···Cl interactions between organic and inorganic moieties leading to self-organized structure. Infrared, UV-Visible and photoluminescence studies were carried out. The in-vitro antibacterial and antifungal activity of the title salt against several microorganisms were studied.
