Description
Summary:Chalcone compound is one of the secondary metabolite compounds found in nature with a wide range of biological activities due to antioxidants, anticancer, antiinflammatory, cytosoxic, antiviral and antibacterial. The antibacterial mechanism of a 4-acetyl derived chalcone derived strain against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli was followed by the docking method. The 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl compound 3-(3--hydroxyphenyl)-1-(pyridine-4-il)-prop-2-en-1-one, 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-(pyridine-4-yl)-prop-2-en-1-in indicating good antibacterial activity by binding to complex amino acids in bacteria Bacillus subtilis on Arg A389, Asp A164, Ser A299, Tyr A149, REZ C500, Asn A301, and Asn A397, whereas in Escherichia coli bacteria on Leu 140 and Gln 170.
