The image theories discussed here start from the idea of Flusser's climbing of abstraction, which conceives the contemporaneity and near future as the field of technical images produced by devices which reverse the vectors of meaning between reality and image. Complementing the discussion we have the theory of the spectacle by Guy Debord and the Jean Baudrillard's theory of simulacrum. These theories intended to compose a paradigm of contemporaneity so as to establish appropriate reference to the production of the comic. From this theoretical framework, we approach the artistic language in order to establish the proper relation between theory and practice.
