Smorgunov, F.A. Shezbukova). It is applied to the situations, when power structures are in the position of losing some ligitimity and the process of legimination of resisting the authorities begins. In these conditions the public political space is actively joined by the actors  with a shadow status, non-public, escaping any contact with the official authoritues.</p><p>One of such vivid modern examples typical for Russian is quasigender groups (LGBT-community), which appear under liminarity during the transition from the shadow into the public position. They are a modern wave (a second global wave) of gender emancipation, which are grounded on their rights’ defense, legalization of their relations (including family) in the civil legal field.</p><p>The author points out approaches to the explanation of the political behavior of quasigender groups, which try to come out of the shadow into the public forms of interpersonal relations.</p><p><strong>DOI: <a href="http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/2218-7405-2013-9-98">http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/2218-7405-2013-9-98</a></strong></p>http://journal-s.org/index.php/sisp/article/view/756neobehaviorismstructural fuctionalismliminarityqusigender groupsgender identityshadow subjects in politics
