Since the role of the designer currently encompasses the entire life cycle of the product, notjust production and consumption, this article aims to present proposals for the reuse and recycling of WEEE through the production of a contemporary jewelry. The project consists of a literature review about electro-electronic waste, disassembly of cell phones to investigate possible alternatives for using the components in jewelry and productionof the final piece. The research showed the amount and variety of resources that can be reused from electrical and electronic waste.
