Description
Summary:Language plays an important role in the lives of human beings by means of communicating, expressing thoughts and describing experiences. Language pedagogy is the science that aims at education, teaching and implementation of the spoken and written speech. If we are dealing with children who have special educational needs, e.g. visually impaired then the teaching is called special education. The loss of vision significantly affects people in various activities. Finding alternative methods of communication is important. The method braille based touch allows to visually impaired people to write and read. The key element of writing is the exastigmo (six dots). The braille method is linguistically a faithful reproduction of written language. The reading is based on the same sounds, the meanings of the words, the grammar and the semantics which are necessary for the understanding of written texts in any language.
