Description
Summary:Aim. The article is devoted to the problem of didactic principles, which form the theoretical basis of the learning process, which is topical in the modern restructuring of the general education school. The subject of the analysis is the content of the principle of visibility. The authors aim to define the main criteria for the notions of “law”, “principle”, “rule” of instruction and the conformity of the principle of visibility to them. Methodology. The basis of the research is historical and pedagogical analysis, theoretical generalization and interpretation of the results of pedagogical and historical pedagogical research. Results. The results of the work are that the authors, on the basis of studying the history of the formation of the structure and content of visibility as requirements to the learning process, determine its compliance with the criteria of the concept of “learning principle”. In the generally accepted formulation, the “principle of visualization” is a means of learning. There is a confusion of the concepts “principle” and “means” in the disclosure of the content of the requirement of clarity. Its second name “unity of concrete and abstract” expresses the direction of development of the process through appeal to practice at each stage of theoretical training. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the scientific-pedagogical design and forecasting area.
