Description
Summary:Reduced implantation seen in patients with endometriosis is still a matter of debate. In a literature review we tried to discover the facts about implantation in endometriotic patients. Most of the studies did not show a significant alteration in endometrial receptivity, which is usually corrected by the classical treatments of endometriosis. The possible effect on implantation is mediated through a decrease in embryo quality, probably consequent to a decrease in the number of embryos available.
