Summary:With the continuous development of economic globalization, the relationship between artificial intelligence and medical decision-making has become more and more close, and it has shown it's unique advantages in the field of ophthalmology. At present, artificial intelligence is more widely used for diseases of the retina(diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, premature retinopathy)and front section disease(cataract, glaucoma, anterior segment)in the diagnosis and treatment. The purpose of this review is to understand the application progress of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, and to point out the potential challenges and prospects of artificial intelligence, so as to provide more information for the further development of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.
