For this reason, environmental characteristics determine a fundamental axis in the process of establishment and execution of concepts that apply a sustainable development model. Now, by adopting this development model, the repercussions in the productive sector directly influence the environment and result in a direct interrelation with the nation's natural resources. However, bad policies and bad administrations have managed to plunge the country into an eventual environmental crisis.
