Summary:We present a case of recurrent focal myositis treated with intravenous human immunoglobulin, after ineffectiveness of analgesics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids and immunosuppressive therapies. There was a prompt clinical and laboratorial improvement. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case reporting the administration of this treatment in recurrent focal myositis.
