Production and Identification of VO2 Nanorods Using Hydrothermal Synthesis Method

In this paper, VO2 nanorods were produced by hydrothermal assisted synthesis of equimolar aqueous NH4Cl and NaVO3 solution. Effect of time and the amount of ethylenediaminetetracetic acid (EDTA) additive on morphology and composition of the final product was determined. The optimum concentration of...

Description
Summary:In this paper, VO2 nanorods were produced by hydrothermal assisted synthesis of equimolar aqueous NH4Cl and NaVO3 solution. Effect of time and the amount of ethylenediaminetetracetic acid (EDTA) additive on morphology and composition of the final product was determined. The optimum concentration of EDTA was determined to be 0.007 gm/cm3 and the optimum time of the synthesis was 24 h.
