| Summary: | The design of engineering structures with metalwork is supposed that corresponding way of operations can support the load-bearing capacity. Because of peculiarities of engineering structures, namely, inaccessibility of a lot of nodes without application of special erection equipment, heavy labour input, etc. – such kind of operation is complicated and sometimes is not carried out. The paper deals with the problems of designing and maintenance of engineering structures with metalwork with specified longevity on the basis of the offered reference methods of principal interaction of designing and maintenance phases.
