Additionally, the [{Cp(CO)3Mo}PbAc] units are linked along [100] by Pb—O(acetate) interactions, giving a ladder-type polymeric structure composed of PbCO2 and Pb2O2 four-membered rings. The {Cp(CO)3Mo} units attached to the PbII atom occupy terminal positions at opposite sides of the slightly puckered lead acetate chain.
