Description
Summary:Gastric cancer remains one of the most aggressive malignancies which is frequently diagnosed in advanced stages of the disease. Therefore, the long term prognostic is extremely poor especially if surgery with curative intent is no longer feasible. When it comes to the predilection sites of metastatic disease with gastric origin, it seems that liver has a central role. The aim of this paper is to analyse the largest studies which investigated the potential benefit of gastric cancer liver metastases resection.
