The principles of zoning of urban areas on the mass fraction of the fine-dispersed particles in the total air dust pollution during excavation works. In the zones with high degree of dust emission the device for protection against dust is proposed to use. Experimental studies carried out in a laboratory aerodynamic tube were related with propagation processes of fine dust into the air of urban areas from constructions dumps stacked by the dispersed soils.
