Sonosensitizers play an important role in the process of SDT. Due to the biological defects of the traditional organic sonosensitizers, the major research direction is to combine sonosensitizers with nanotechnology by using nanocarriersor developing new inorganic sonosensitizers.So far, SDT is still in the preclinical and clinical research stage.Recent <i>in vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i> studies have showed that SDT can kill a variety of cancer cells and have broad application prospects.We briefly described the mechanism of SDT, the type of sonosensitizers and the current applications of SDT.http://qktg.shnu.edu.cn/zrb/shsfqkszrb/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=20200406sonodynamic therapy (sdt)sonosensitizersnanotechnology |
