Interconnections between behavioral finance and social network analysis: an investigation in the international literature

Having the decision making, the importance of themes involving behavioral finances is visualized, where the individual is analyzed from the standpoint of heuristics and biases. In this sense, the analysis of social networks can contribute to broaden the knowledge generated by this area, since it considers the transactions based on network. Therefore, it was defined as a general objective to explore the themes of behavioral finance and analysis of social networks, identifying possible relationships, based on international journals of the area, during the period from 2012 to 2016. A bibliometric research was used in four international periodicals related to research in behavioral finance and social network analysis. As a result, it can be observed that, of the total number of articles selected by the search terms, twenty-five made up the sample, the Journal of Economic Psychology being the periodical with the most publications. It is verified that articles predominantly carried out jointly, with three authors, which in some cases are linked to different institutions and countries. About the content of the articles, topics related to networks and social and behavioral issues are presented, being empirical articles, mostly using survey research and experiments, since these are aspects associated with cognition.
