| Summary: | The microbiological purpose of endodontic treatment on tooth with apical periodontitis is reducing microbes to achieve periradicular tissue healing and prevent microbes recolonized. Root canal system on tooth with apical periodontitis treated in two visit endodontic and calcium hydroxide as the intra-appointment medication achieved better microbiological status than the one treated in one visit endodontic. |
