O texto procura responder porque hoje a democracia política nos países da América Ibérica está ameaçada ou em crise profunda e porque as massas populares parecem de tal forma apáticas ante tais ameaças. Para isso, há o argumento que a democracia tem que ser pensada em situação, em contexto, e por outro lado, que a democracia de modelo americano do norte, plutocrática e anti-social deveria ser substituída pela democracia dos povos ibéricos. <b>Palavras-chave:</b> Democracia.
