Summary: | The article discusses a possibility of formation of a student-manager’s corporate social responsibility (CSR). A clear request on the part of the business for study of corporate social responsibility has formed currently in Russia. In our opinion, solution to this problem is possible in the system of modern higher education. In order to understand what problems pertaining to implementation of the CSR principles exist in modern Russian companies of the construction sector, how they are resolved, what social programs are used to resolve them, whether our students studying at the 38.03.02. “Management” course of training are ready or not to observe the CSR principles in their work, we carried out a social study (the results are presented in the article). The following conclusions were made: 1) The majority of the polled students are aware of the need for knowledge of the CSR principles to manage the company’s social activity; 2) They understand that they don’t have enough knowledge about social programming methods, that they do not know the algorithm of its implementation, that they are not always able to choose the right direction of possible social activity of the company in view of existing problems; 3) Students understand the importance of CSR for sustainable development of the organization. Modern higher education aimed at training of managerial staff is capable to realize this need and adequately respond to the growing interest of the business to a range of the CSR problems.
