The gynecologists are frequently faced with need for the administration of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) in this group of patients with the onset of symptoms associated with estrogen deficiency; however, uterine fibroids represent a relative contraindication for the administration of MHT. In the present paper, we point out the need for conservative therapy of uterine fibroids in premenopausal patients to prepare for the administration of MHT.
