Summary: | Compared to what was happening in the 60s across the American continent, in Argentina the feminist and LGBTQ+ movements appeared later in the comic-strip landscape than they did in North-America. When they started to blossom in the early 2010, it was rather as a topic than as an opportunity to reshape the medium’s language. In that sense, by the names they choose, as well as by the works they promote, the festival Tinta Queer (2016), the archive Secuencia Disidente (2017) and the collective Línea Peluda (2018) are announcing an inflection point. |
