Description
Summary:The aim is to correlate the productive structure of the Eurozone and its impacts on the use of energy. In the methodology, multipliers and generators of renewable and non-renewable energy and the overflowing effect were calculated using the inputs-product matrix and the World Input-Output Database. In the results the production multipliers in relation to energy use and atmospheric pollution, was transportation equipment. The generators have Refining Oil and Nuclear Fuel and Electricity, Gas and Water. The use of energy from the increase in production is overflowed out of the block, which indicates insufficient internal infrastructure. Due to a trade-off between the increase in production and the use of energy, it would be important to discover the advantages and disadvantages of each country for such choices, this being a suggestion for future work.
