Description
Summary:The importance of having good teachers to ensure a high quality educational system largely depends on the motivation of those who choose a teaching degree. In this paper, after reviewing the models of motivation and the national and international studies on prospective teachers’ motivation, we conclude on the need to clarify concepts and establish a complete motivational framework. Perez Lopez’s anthropological motivation model clarifies the motivational concepts as well as establishing a complete motivational framework taking into account the human identity, making an ethical contribution to the theory of motivation.
