The study showed that the students gave high rating to the following items. - When applying self-directed learning the depend on themselves more than the instructor - They learn according to their needs and wants. - Self-directed learning enables them to grow and advance - Self-directed learning is flexible unlike other learning methods - Self-directed learning gives them the chance to be creative and widen their breadth. - They prefer to switch between regular methods in learning and self directed learning. The study recommended using self-directed learning continually. and establishing self-directed learning center at King Saud University.
