Experiencias educativas y de investigación Arlene Urdaneta Q. 0Ileana Parra G. 1Arlene Cardozo U. 2Universidad del Zulia Universidad del Zulia Universidad del Zulia Diagnosis of society is the first step to strengthen the knowledge of the history of threats in the communities, which leads to identify unique ecosystems and urban scenarios, natural events and anthropogenic processes occurring in its history; towards understanding the changes over time, to perceive the possible causes and whether the factors that caused them are still present, this in order to reduce the vulnerability context to socialize in educational environments. Achieving mediate learning processes in the area of social sciences ranging from the student “everyday life” until the understanding of the society in which they are immersed, enabling them to design teaching, research and educational strategies involving effectively to students as members of society capable of taking a responsible attitude towards their community. By application and scope, the social-educational proposal falls in both investigative dimensions: theoretical and practical (qualitative paradigm), supported in the methodological technique named "action-research" (Rojas, 2007). Preliminary results of this educational proposal have shown the scope of a particular historical discourse humanized and responsive to the interests of a particular group.http://revistas.uis.edu.co/index.php/revistacyp/article/view/7440/7685historydisastersecosystemseducationsocial sciences .
