The theoretical framework that keeps this analysis is the focus of the National Innovation System, which assigns highlighted the importance of innovation as a determinant of the dynamics of productive activities, especially in this case, the Brazilian agriculture. The methodological procedure adopted involves a literature and descriptive research. As a result it was found that Embrapa has an important role in SNPA, as it acts as coordinator of the same organ. Regarding the CT-Agribusiness sector fund, the results indicate that this funding mechanism contributes investments and ensures the efficient allocation of resources for research and development in the Brazilian agricultural sector.http://www.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/ecoreg/article/view/37717embrapanational system innovationagriculturebrazil
