Description
Summary:The content and antioxidation activity of total flavonoids extracted from 5 species of Dryopteridaceae plants were studied by aluminum color spectrophotometry. The results showed that the 5 species of Dryopteridaceae plants contained flavonoids, which content ranged from 5% to 8%.Dryopteris lacera appeared the highest total flavonoid content(8.24%);D.atrata and D.varia appeared the lowest(5.01%).The total flavonoids content of Polystichum tripteron(5.2%) and D.peninsulae(6.53%) are in the middle. The flavonoids extracted from the 5 species of Dryopteridaceae plants show a good antioxidant activity, and the content of flavonoids extracted from the plants was in direct proportion to the antioxidation(Iron reducing power,DPPH free radical scavenging activity,ABTS+scavenging activity). This paper is to provide a reference to the development and utilization of Dryopteridaceae plants.
