Summary:<span>The advantages and disadvantages of existing technical solutions and methods of pressure stabilization in the forming die</span><span> of the extruding machines were examined. The developed functional scheme of mechatronic system which provides automatic maintenance of a constant pressure drop in the forming die channels was shown. We presented construction solutions of the die restricting elements allowing use of mechatronic system and providing rational hydrodynamic flow conditions of the process material. Analysis of analytical studies and experimental results allowed us to determine calming lengths with the movement of<br /> various non-Newtonian fluids in die channels with a complex geometry and head and rate in the area of restricting element. Solutions obtained allowed to extend the application field of the forming die by stabilizing the pressure during raw materials processing with different rheological properties</span>
