Description
Summary:The paper deals with a German-marked mountain text in Sasha Chorny’s poetry. The confines of this chronotope are marked with a Philistine “dale” (spatial bottom) and a mountain “peak” passing into the sky (spatial top). Mountains are here a mediative locus with characteristics of idyll or pseudo-idyll. Besides, the paper demonstrates a connection between S. Chorny’s mountain text and the tradition of orography in Russian literature.
