Summary:A newly reported species of Poaceae, Eragrostis aquatica, is reported from South Korea, which was collected from Naejang and Sucheong reservoir, Jeongeup-si, Jeollabuk-do. E. aquatica is known to be an endemic plant in Japan, but its distribution in South Korea was confirmed in the present study. It can be distinguished from Eragrostis pilosa and Eragrostis multicaulis by its habit and morphological characteristics, with perennial and spikelets 1.5-2.0 mm wide.
