Summary:Osteoid osteoma is a rare benign osteoblastic tumor with distinctive histologic characteristics consisting of a central core of vascular osteoid tissue i.e., nidus surrounded by a peripheral zone of sclerotic bone. Most of cases of Osteoid osteoma are reported in long bones of body, however, their occurrence in jaw bones is extremely rare. The purpose of this article is to present an overview regarding its clinical presentation, diagnosis and management.
