The appearance of Greek manuscripts in Odesa is connected mainly with the foundation and later history of such institutions as different Greek schools, the Odesa society of history and antiquities and Novorossiysky University as well as with the activities of a number of representatives of Russian and Balkan culture and Enlightenment, such as the outstanding Slavonic philologist V.I.Grigorovich, A.S.Sturdza etc. The remarkable monument of Byzantine book-writing of the end of the XIth century, the Gospel-aprakos, conserved in Odesa museum of local lore is of special interest though it hasn’t been appraised at its true worth by the scientists.http://vislib.onu.edu.ua/article/view/25744грецькі рукописипалеографіяколекціонуваннягрецька культураНоворосійський університетВ.
