| Summary: | This is a descriptive study in order to examine the
results of PMAQ performance indicators achieved
by a health team of the municipality of Picos
family (PI) in the years 2012 and 2013. The data
from the System of the Primary Care Information,
were analyzed using the calculation method
proposed by PMAQ and presented in comparative
tables. The results showed progress in health
indicators of women, child health and diabetic
control and hypertension and setbacks in the
areas of oral health and overall production, being
also below the established national averages.
Thus, it highlights the importance of monitoring
and analysis of indicators of primary care and the
importance of PMAQ induction of improving
access and quality of primary care processes.
