Description
Summary:This article aims at carrying out a political analysis of the discourse of training based on competences offering elements of reflection that distort the readiness with which this model of teaching training has been assumed in Spain. The article is divided into two sections. In the first one, competence-based training is framed within the new ways of work organisation in a postfordian economy and the main elements of a curricular design based on a professional-competence approach are described. In the second section some mythologies associated to training for employability and to competence-based learning are explored.
