Mobilités, transports et échanges villes-ksour dans le Sud-Ouest algérien

Contrary to the image of a fixed and enclaved space attributed to it, the Sahara is a space of circulation and mobility. Formerly structured by the caravan routes, he has undergone significant transformations related to the implementation of new transport infrastructures, which have encouraged the development of new forms of mobility. This opening up of the Sahara has, among other things, enabled the intensification of movements and exchanges between the large and medium-sized cities of the south and the metropolises in the north of the country, as well as between the other major Saharan cities themselves. As for the small towns, at least those best served by transport, they managed to capture daily flows of people from the towns and surrounding ksour. In addition, some small ksour have managed to spread “slipping” to nearby roads, while others have become true truck stops?
