Este artículo consta de dos partes. En la primera parte, basada en el documento “Del conflicto a la comunidad”, se investiga cuales sean las características de la reflexión sobre el pasado y qué elementos deben ser considerados particularmente. Los luteranos y los católicos están invitados a reflexionar sobre sus posiciones sobre el pasado para utilizar este pasado en el diálogo ecuménico. En la segunda parte se presenta la nueva consideración de dos puntos de partida importantes para el futuro diálogo luterano-católico: “Martín Lutero no tenía la intención de dividir la Iglesia” y “Martín Lutero quería renovar la Iglesia”. En la parte final se hace constar que la reflexión sobre el pasado y acerca de Martín Lutero en un espíritu positivo y ecuménico puede ciertamente ayudar a alcanzar el objetivo final del esfuerzo ecuménico con mayor rapidez, es a decir, la unidad visible, que también Jesucristo espera de sus seguidores. Abstract: This article consists of two parts. In the first part, based on the document "From Conflict to the Community", research is being carried out which are the characteristics of the reflection on the past and which elements should be considered particularly. The Lutherans and the Catholics are invited to reflect on their past visions to use this past for ecumenical dialogue. In the second part, the new consideration of two important starting points for the future Lutheran-Catholic dialogue is reported: “Martin Luther did not intend to split the church" and "Martin Luther wanted to renew the church”. In the final part, it is stated that reflection on the past and about Martin Luther in a positive and ecumenical spirit can certainly help to reach the ultimate goal of the ecumenical effort more quickly. The visible unity, which also Jesus Christ expects from his successors.
