Daily observations and weekly snow measurements are made at the weather stations from Bucegi Mountains - Vârful Omu (2504 m), Sinaia (1500 m) şi Predeal (1100m) and Făgăraş Mountains – Bâlea-Lac (2055m), to provide data for avalanche risk estimation using the european avalanche danger scale.
