Description
Summary:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)/nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) has become one of the important causes of liver cirrhosis in the world and may be an important cause of unexplained liver cirrhosis in China. The mechanism of NAFLD progression and early diagnosis are described. The causes and clinical features of NAFLD progression, which are different from HBV or HCV-related cirrhosis, need to be further identified, and the effective noninvasive methods for early diagnosis remain to be well studied.
