| Summary: | The aim of this paper is to initiate and study a new class of functions termed as 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy 𝛼-irresolute functions. It is
found that this class of functions is independent of the existing class of fuzzy α-irresolute, 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy irresolute and 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜
fuzzy continuous functions. Also the 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy α-irresoluteness is found to be stronger than 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy semicontinuity, 𝑝𝑠-
𝑟𝑜 fuzzy irresoluteness and 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜fuzzy α-continuity. Several characterizations of these functions are obtained in terms of newly
introduced concept of 𝑝𝑠-α interior (closure) operators, 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy α-nbd, 𝑝𝑠-𝑟𝑜 fuzzy dense set and their graphs.
