Description
Summary:This collection of texts results from the international conference «Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship in Africa: experiences, reflections, and perspectives», promoted by the Centre for African Studies of ISCTE. As such, it includes texts of researchers and presentations made by entrepreneurs in this meeting. Besides including diverse subjects related to the main theme – development, informal economy, credit, management, or new technologies – it also contains a set of texts resulting from the research carried out in other entrepreneurial contexts, like China or Brazil. Among the analyses concerning the African continent, it presents studies conducted in a diversified and vast number of countries, besides Angola and Mozambique on which the project that motivated this conference is focused on.
